We continue to try to spread the word as to why it is better to donate money than food. Here are some statistics received from Feeding America today: In 2014 we received 50,380 lbs of food from them. We spent $17,979 for that food....saving $91,346 over retail price. As an example, today i ordered canned corn and green beans from them at 17 cents a pound.
