Thank you to each of you who support Eleanor’s Pantry.  Your selfless gifts allow us to continue to help feed the food insecure families in the Lawton and Paw Paw area.

Wow! We've received lots of $ recently!!😊
St. Julian. $3,500
Family Fare Direct Dollars. 1,000
A T & T. 2,000
Family Fare scan campaign 2,200
Total. $8,700

Many choose to help us each year. A T & T Michigan once again made a significant contribution.  We were presented a check for $2,000 by their representative, Ruth Gaudard.  Family Fare/Spartan Nash frequently finds ways to assist the pantry.  For a second year, they conducted a retail scan campaign, where their customers could choose to donate to Eleanor’s Pantry.  Patrons gave $2,200 during the 2 week campaign.  We will also be receiving a $1,000 check from Family Fare’s “Direct Your Dollars” program, where customers donated their receipts to us.

Thank you to all who made Eagle Scout Nickolas Johnson’s toiletry drive such a huge success.  Families in many neighborhoods donated items, which were collected by Nickolas and his fellow Boy Scouts and delivered to the pantry. These items, which we struggle to get, are regularly needed by our families.  We so appreciate the efforts of all.

We invite you to join us in upcoming events benefitting Eleanor’s Pantry. D Coy Duck, in Lawton, will host its 6th annual Chili Cook Off on Tuesday, November 7, from 6-8 PM.  Come taste the many delicious chili entries and vote for your favorite by making a cash donation or bringing non-perishable food.  Bad Endings band has again volunteered to provide great music for us.  Put it on your calendar and join us for the fun!  Singer/song writer, Dave Johnson performs his 5th “Playing for the Pantry” on Small Business Saturday, November 25.  Dave will play and sing at 10 different small local businesses, taking donations for the pantry.  Look for his itinerary on our Facebook page or website, so you can join us. His music is delightful!

Many individuals, families, and churches generously donate to us each month.  Thank you to all of you.
