The "Supporter Spotlight" section of our News page is a new and ongoing feature on our website that spotlights local businesses, churches, organizations, and pantry volunteers that are long-time supporters of Eleanor's Pantry.

We have so many that fall into this category and that are vital to sustaining the pantry, and we would like to use this platform to show our appreciation!

PAW PAW BREWING COMPANY - OUR FIRST "SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT" RECOGNITION


A typical day at Paw Paw Brewing Company may center around scheduling and production of its many popular beers and ordering and stocking of key ingredients for its favorite menu items, but for owner Ryan Sylvester it also includes the focal point of relationship with community.

It is instantly apparent in conversation with Ryan that the statement "it's all about community" aren't just words splashed on its website but are engrained in its culture and values and that he personally shares the importance of community and giving back within his own family.

PPBC's relationship with Eleanor's Pantry has been ongoing for years, and it continues to provide support to the pantry through collecting grocery receipts at the "Eleanor's Pantry" mailbox at its front entrance, as well as at its non-perishable food collection box just around the corner. Its weekly music trivia game night awards extra points to participants who bring in food donations. On a regular basis PPBC holds food drives for the pantry, which serves the Lawton and Paw Paw communities, along with other food pantries within the surrounding communities.

We are thrilled to feature Ryan and the staff at Paw Paw Brewing Company in our Supporter Spotlight section and present this Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of that commitment.
